Nochmal: Das ist zum ersten Mal CVS? Oder ist was kaputt gegangen?

Paket "intltool"? Oder gettext-devel?

Das Compilieren aus dem CVS ist immer ein größerer Akt als das aus dem 
tarball. Die Anleitung im README erwähnt da nur die allergrößten Unbekannten 
-- da wird immer ein größeres Maß an Systemkenntnissen erwartet als sonst.
