Das mit dem Subset ist m.E. irreführend, da GnuTLS & Co. im wesentlichen
alles (abgesehen von einer obskuren Passwortverarbeitung vielleicht, die
auch in libssl nicht mehr gern gesehn wird) haben, was man braucht. Was
nicht annähernd vollständig ist, ist die Kompatibilitätsbibliothek (die
im wesentlichen einfachste SSL-Verbindungen kann und nicht viel mehr).

Das zweite "they" sollte ein "that" sein, wenn das drinbleibt

Entweder brauchst Du ein GPL-kompatibles-libssl (oder Ersatz) oder alle
GPL-Pakete, gegen die GnuCash linkt und gnucash selbst bräuchten die
Ausnahme.
