Old currency support in Euro Accounts

Hi,

Imagine you want to manage your account in Euro, but want to have the
value displayed in the old currency too.

Now:
Account in DEM
When I turn on Euro support, the values are displayed in the Euro
currency too.

>From beginning of the next year:
Account in EUR
Opposite now, I want to see the values additionally in DEM.

I've searched on the mailinglists but I didn't find any information of
this feature yet.

It would be very nice, if gnucash could have this feature.
