Gnome-print - Guppi problems

To everyone,

Can we please refrain from using the word die for a
week or so. I've got a friend that I work with here
in Tempe Arizona by the name of Russell Burrough who
just started to talk about such things and then
rambles about Monday 6.25.2001. This is giving me a
real bad feeling about what he may do to himself or
someone else and I'm trying to be positive for him,
just not sure if its working. Thanks!

Now, the last time I had problems with guppi and
gnucash was because of gnome-print as you have stated.
The problem was that the make install for gnome-print
was trying to run gs, or ghostscript to install the
fonts and because I had not installed ghostscript, it
couldn't find gs. After compiling up and installing
all of Ghostscript, I then reran make install for
gnome-print and then it was able to find gs, and
install the fonts, and then guppi run without a hitch
under gnucash.

Hope that helps,
alan
