Replace the term "to reinitialize"

The term "to reinitialize a transaction" is used as a menu item in the
register. The action that this menu item should perform is: Remove all
splits in the selected transaction except the one that is attached to
the currently opened register.
I think the term "reinitialize" is seriously misleading here. To me,
"reinitialize" sounds similar to "set to default", but the meaning of
both in the context of a selected transaction is totally unclear. For
example, the "default" for a newly entered transaction can be seen as
those values that are filled in through the auto-completion features. On
the other hand, the "default" of a transaction could also be seen to be
a totally empty transaction, but then the mentioned action would just
mean "to delete the transaction".
If we want to have such an action available that deletes the other
splits in a transaction, I would suggest a wording like
"Delete other splits",
or "Almost delete transaction",
or "Delete rest of transaction",
or "Partly delete transaction"
-- anyhow, as you can see I would like to have the word "delete" in it
since that is what this action is supposed to do. What do people think?
