Hi Dave,

I'm the current Italian translator of GnuCash's .po file.  I think
you're the proper person to contact to.

Have you ever heard of Translation Project?  It was born since quite a
while, but it's boosted up only this year.  It's main pourpose is to
provide a robot that helps people in translating .po files.

I've never read robot's e-mails from .po submitter side, but I believe
it's as simple as from mine.  Being subscribed to Italalian Translation
Project mailing-list, I receive (also) messages that tell me a
translation of mine needs to be updated.  I don't need to checkout
latest program revision, build it, merge it with my previous
translation, tranlsate the rest, and send everything back.  I just
download lastest .po file, translate it, and send it back to the
Translation Project robot.  It's up to it storing my translation and
getting in contact with the rigth person.
