GnuCash 1.7.8 crash while editing transaction

1) can you please append this information to the bug report in bugzilla?
2) if it is repeatable in 1.8.0 can you please supply the following
   information in the bug report:

        1) The exact key/mouse sequence to repeat the problem
        2) An example data file that you used to reproduce the problem
