Umm I am confused... when did you pull CVS?  Your previous message
said "5 minutes ago", but now you say "yesterday"?  There were a bunch
of build-system fixes applied last night...

But, glad it's working.  See if you can reproduce your issues (except
for #104091) with 1.7.8..
