Hi,

Thanks to the hard work of Dave's iMac, there is a new Fink distribution. If
you have Mac OS X 10.3 or later, you can now use a binary to install
gnucash. Here is what you need to do:

1) If you don't have fink installed, you have to get it. There are
instructions for getting the installer here:
<http://fink.sourceforge.net/download/index.php>
You'll need 0.7.0. When the download is complete, you have to run the installer.

2) That done, open a terminal and type `sudo apt-get update` followed by
`sudo apt-get install gnucash`.

3) You're finished.

If you have trouble, please feel free to e-mail me, or the fink-users list
fink-users @ lists . sourceforge . net.

Apologies to Mac OS X 10.2 users, you still have to build from source.

Thanks,
Peter
