Good news on that. Just heard from Andreas Rottmann.

The missing g-wrap-wct.h file is deprecated for new code, but should have been 
retained for compatibility. It will be replaced in a fixed package for Debian 
soonish, so GnuCash can transition to G-Wrap 1.9 on Debian.

We don't need to code around it or change the source to a new file.

Looks like I'll be back with -Werror on Debian in due course.
