That is not true, r14580 just changed gtk_dialog_run to gnc_dialog_run,
so that users could say "remember this session" (hell, the user
currently sitting in front of my computer seems to like clicking on
crosses) or "remember forever". The confirmation dialog is not new but
has been removed by this changeset.

So if we backport it, we do not need the revert-14580 part of course. I
do not have a strong opinion, but do not think backporting is necessary.
