[PATCH] Fwd: Want to contribute modified US "Tax Report & TXF Export" report - questions

Hello,

About a month ago I submitted patch files for a modified "Tax Report &
TXF Export" report & corresponding changes to the documentation and
haven't heard anything. Since then I have continued testing and I
found that the original report (and the one I previously submitted
based on it as well) would crash gnucash if you tried to save to a
directory without permissions. This newer patch file corrects that. In
addition I have been able to test the TXF interface to Turbo Tax.

The log entry for patchfile should read:

"Prints tax information sorted by Form/Schedule, tax code, account,
transaction and date instead of by account hierarchy. Allows any tax
code to be assigned to multiple accounts. No longer double counts
transactions when a parent account is not a placeholder and has
transactions posted to it. Converts non-USD accounts and transactions
to USD instead of adding across currencies. Provides an error dialog
instead of crashing gnucash when exporting a file without write
permission. Provides additional options to adjust the level of detail
shown on the report."

For docs-patchfile, the log entry should read:

"Updates the Customize help chapter to reflect changes to the Tax Report."

I would appreciate it if someone with the right privileges could apply
these patches. Or alternatively, let me know if there is anything else
I should do.

Also, I would like to take on responsibility for any bugs filed
against this report. Is there a way that I can register to get
automatic notification from bugzilla for bugs on this report? Or does
one just have to look for bugs periodically?
