Is this backport correct ? It seems to me the new features in this patch are
the new features for 2.4.
Browsing the release notes wiki pages for 2.2, I find the Windows port to be
the most prominent new feature.
I'll add that I didn't really investigate this. It just caught my attention,
so I am asking.
