Sorry, my fault. I discovered that I was using a wrong name for the 
downloaded json files...

Thank you very much Bob for all your help, it seems you know python 
pretty well! my intention is to create some graphs to post on facebook 
and google+ GnuCash page. The best would be to have graphs also in a 
page in the GnuCash website. Is it ok if I also create a wiki page with 
your code in order to document how to create those graphs?
