I m using RH9 but i have done this: Create a "test" User Donwload Garnome for Gnome2.4 (includes all the fresh libs) and install G2.4 in user's home dir. Then i ve downloaded gnucash2 compliled it and installed it without any problem(install it in user home dir also) Gnucash2 in this primary version is looks nice although many crashes appeared and functionality is very limited.
