primary-subtotal bold in the displayed report? <a href="https://github.com/Gnucash/gnucash/blob/stable/gnucash/report/trep-engine.scm#L138-L139" target="_blank">https://github.com/Gnucash/gnucash/blob/stable/gnucash/report/trep-engine.scm#L138-L139</a></li></ol></div></div></div></blockquote><div>Because the def:primary-subtotal-style being "primary-subheading" seems to be responsible for setting the bgcolor only, and the bold line comes from "total-label-cell" and "total-number-cell" as per <i>first-column</i> and <i>data-columns</i> definitions. Best use ripgrep or equivalent to locate the <i>primary-subheading</i> and <i>total-number-cell</i> style definitions, which predates css. Unfortunately not everything in gnucash makes sense, only the numerical data and reports are sound :)</div></div></div>
