First-time user

hello all.  I've just joined this list a few minutes ago to seek some
installation help.  I'm attempting to install the latest version of
GnuCash onto my Mandrake 8.0 box.  I don't have much experience with
packages with multiple dependencies, so I'm quite lost.

I downloaded the four files found at
http://www.gnucash.org/pub/gnucash/mandrake-8.x/, but they all failed to
load except libguppi11-0.35.5-1mdk.i586.rpm.  Everything else seems to
want something.  Are those the only files that I need?  Or is there
another source I can go to to find any other dependencies I'm missing.
