Well, something is screwy...

This is what I get:

[jaw@freyr jaw]$ gnome-config --modversion print
unknown library `print'
gnome-libs-1.2.13
[jaw@freyr jaw]$ gnome-config --libs print
Unknown library `print'

Something else, where you have lgnomeprint lgnomeui lgnomesupport, etc.,
I have libgnomeprint libgnomeui libgnomesupport (using locate).
