This is just plain wrong. GnuCash's g-wrap requirements haven't changed
since the release of the 1.6 series. You certainly dont have to
downgrade. 1.6.8 will work with any g-wrap from 1.1.11 to 1.2.1 (the
latest for the 1.6 series). The only change we made to the check for
g-wrap was to make sure people were not trying to use the g-wrap that
only works with CVS GnuCash (The 1.3.x g-wrap series). That being said,
there's not much chance that I will ever release diff's for gnucash
changes. I suggest, if you really want to just download the changes,
that you get a checkout of the 1.6 CVS as described on the gnucash
webpages, then just do an update whenever there is a release
announcement. The releases are always tagged in CVS, so you would only
get the changes to date. There's not a lot of change in the stable
series so it shouldn't be too hard to keep on top of.
