GnuCash1.7.5 freeze on "Since Last Run"

Hi again, and thanks again to developers and kind folks who helped me get=
=20
installed on Mandrake 9.
I notice that when I click on 'Actions' - 'Scheduled Transactions' - 'Since=
=20
Last Run',  and the 'To- Create Transaction Preparation'  window opens, and=
=20
my selected 'scheduled transaction' is listed as 'ready to create'.
I highlight it, then click 'Next' and everything freezes...
Have to log-out (Ctrl/Alt/Backspce) to get out of it.
Ha s anyone else found an answer to this, or perhaps it's just my machine??
