Nothing works on Red Hat

Hi Chris, well even version 1.66 shipped with red hat 8.0 does not work
on my Workstation load of this version. It has permission problems when
there ARE no problems with the gnucash system that selects where to
store it's files. It comes up with strange failure notices and I have to
kill the the dam thing.

I still have Red Hat 7.3 set up and will test with the version that
comes with it. If that fails I will cancel this list and consider
gnucash a total failure.
