Installation Problems with Mac OSX

Hi Robyn,

I had a similar problem.  My update failed with a 'make' command also. I've 
just gotten back from being out of town, and planned to respond to the list 
with a summary of what worked for me.  Meanwhile, I'll try to help.

What version of OSX do you have?
Do you have X11 and Xcode (Apple Deveopler Tools) installed (either from 
your OSX cd or from Apple website)?
In Fink Commander does Source > selfupdate work?

Hi,

Although I somehow managed to get GnuCash installed on my iBook several
weeks ago, I am now the proud owner of a new 15 inch PowerBook and I am
trying to install GnuCash onto it.

I am so grateful to Michael Elliott and his wonderful web site that has
helped me to install GnuCash. I am not sure how I did it last time, but
Michael's instructions are great.

I am using Fink Commander and after updating it, I selected GnuCash in the
window and selected Install. It does lots of stuff and eventually the
following message appears:

I have tried the Install three times, and each time it ends with failing to
compile t1lib1-1.3.1-2.

Can anyone help me work out how to fix the problem?
