Gnucash does not have a native inventory management system.  You could
probably somewhat fake it by creating a new "commodity" and stock
account for each inventory widget.  But this is far from automated,
and might not actually flow into a real inventory system if/when
gnucash implements one.

It's unclear if one will ever be implemented.  I've heard of nobody
who is working on that at this time.
