Problems with install on RH9 with XD2 - Displays the splash screen now

Hi,

After all the trouble, decided to run gnucash (as
suggested by Maf King). Discovered that the execute
permissions were not set on the app launcher! probably
because of the install problems. Granted the
permissions, Now Gnucash displays the splash window
loads some modules and dissappears.

Still need help!
