Maximise window on start-up

I'm using GnuCash 1.8.9 on Fedora Core 3.

Whenever I use GnuCash I maximise the window. However, when I start it 
up it is 'un-maximised'. Is there any way to make sure it will always be 
maximised on start-up? It's not a major concern but just curious.
