rounding errors in tax calculation

When I enter an item in an invoice (sent to me), this example $5.45 + 10% tax
the system gives me tax $0.54; when the invoice gives me tax $0.55.
According to the (local?) rules the last .005 on the tax gets rounded up but
gnucash rounds it down.
