Tracking E-Gold

Hi,

I want to be able to keep track of my e-gold account
in gnucash. I have a couple of questions as to how to
do this:

1) When creating the new account, should I be setting
the account type to stock? I presume this is the way
to go.

2) Now here's where I get stuck... After clicking when
I click through to create a new commodity. I don't
know what information to enter in the new security
dialog box.  Specifically what should I enter for the
Full Name, Symbol/abbreviation and the Type box. What
type of stock exchange are commodities listed on
anyway? Sorry I don't know.

3) Once I've set this up will this enable me to keep
track of the physical amount of goldgrams that I own?
