It's pretty linear at this time.  Yeah, the larger your data file,
the poorer the performace.  Future versions will HOPEFULLY help
this, but it'll be a while until that gets done.

2.1.1 is an unstable, beta-test version.  There is no newer stable
version.  The current stable version is 2.0.5.
