Report conversion EUR to GBP

Chris Backhouse When I run a report gonesailing at backhouse.biz

Hi

When I run a report, for example cash flow for all transactions in 2007 in
EUR, it reports euro amounts= euro amount*1.32 ! Why!
for example: in expenses-Living-Housing-Gas I have 6 transactions amounting to
EUR145.60 The report gives a total of EUR192.19 which is 145.60*1.32

What am I doing wrong?

I have just transferred all my transactions from MS-money to gnuCash and in
the process merged my two MSmoney files (GBP & EUR) into one gnuCash file.

I have setup the chart of accounts, using seperate Expense-Accounts for EUR
and GBP tranasactions, for example expenses-Living-Housing-Gas-EUR and
expenses-Living-Housing-Gas-GBP

I have set my default currency to EUR, the default in expenses & assets to
EUR.

I have set currency prices up as follows;-
CURRENCY
	GBP EUR	User-price	Last	1.32
	EUR	GBP	Finance-Quote	Last	0.74
** as an aside, the GBP->EUR is setup as a user price as it refuses to get a
quote for it off the net. EUR->GBP works fine!

I have just compiled up the latest gnuCash v2.2.3

Many thanks in advance

Chris

ps: this is similar to the post
(https://lists.gnucash.org/pipermail/gnucash-user/2005-June/014066.html) for
which I couldn't find a response.
