Balance Sheet & VTSMX

Anyone have some thoughts on why including an account of shares in Vanguard's Total Stock Market Fund would screw up the Balance Sheet Report ?  If I include the account, the Balance Sheet shows zero total assets.  If I exclude it, the balance sheet works fine.  VTSMX works fine in the Investment Portfolio account and I have other Vanguard funds that work on the Balance Sheet.  Any ideas?
