Yes, there is a thread about how the dbus instructions are outdated.  
Restarting did not help, but power cycling did seem to settle the EOF  
error. Once I got past the _gll_noop error (see below) there were  
messages about  org.freedesktop.dbus-session.plist not being loaded and
	launchctl load /Library/LaunchAgents/org.freedesktop.dbus-session.plist
still gives
	nothing to load.
I'm trying a rebuild of gnucash and if that fails will try dbus first  
and then gnucash again. This is the fourth build just to get the new  
version. Once I get this update, it will be my last.

  I'm still getting the _gll_noop error on launch. This has been  
discussed

and as Johan noted
	http://trac.macports.org/ticket/19268
and the answer seems to be to deactivate Mesa.
