When I do this, only 'xml' appears in drop down menu, the mysql relevant
data ( host, database, user, password ) remain grayed-out and I can not
modify them. I have a mysql server running, although it is not installed
in a standard location and the socket file is not in a standard location
neither.

Thanks for your help
Peter
