CREDITS BEFORE DEBITS

Regarding trying to make the desposits appear before the debits, I hope someone will give you a better answer.  

What I have done might be cheating a bit, but I just change the date to one day earlier for my paycheck deposit, for example, to get rid of the negative balances.  On the other hand, if you make sure the credit is recorded before the debits, I think you might try to handle it that way.  If it is going into your register automatically from a download or something, I'm not sure.   I would like to know more about this issue myself, so maybe someone else will take a good look at it and respond.  It would be a good fix for them to do to make it automatic...

I'm sorry, I meant "balance" not "imbalance".  Is it possible to do what I
ask?  My bank always places deposits ahead of debits when I view any
particular day's transactions.  I'd like Gnucash to be able to do the same.
