Total budgeted amount

I am trying to figure out how to compare my total budgeted expenses with 
my total budgeted income to see if I have to cut my budget before the 
month begins.  The only way I can figure out how to do this is to use a 
calculator, but that doesn't make sense.  Is there any easier way to do 
it?  This is what is holding me back from using and recommending this 
program.  I like everything else that I see about the program!
