I hadn't noticed that, thank you - although the type is so small that it's not easy to read. In any case, it is quite easy to write a note that is *far* too long to display along the bottom of the screen. I have to say, I *like* the ability to write long notes with a transaction, I just think it should be easy to read it and print it if required ... Colin
