I've been trying to get online banking working on three different systems,
with no success: Ubuntu Karmic 9.10, OpenSuSE 11.1, and Windows XP. On both
the Linux systems, Gnucash simply quits when I attempt the "Get Balance"
operation (having gone through the setup, apparently successfully). Under
Ubuntu, gnucash.trace has this to say:
* 19:32:33 WARN <GLib> g_set_prgname() called multiple times
* 19:33:07 WARN <gnc.gui> [PrintAmountInternal()] Bad numeric.
* 19:33:07 WARN <gnc.gui> [PrintAmountInternal()] Bad numeric.
* 19:33:26 WARN <gnc.gui> [PrintAmountInternal()] Bad numeric.
* 19:33:26 WARN <gnc.gui> [PrintAmountInternal()] Bad numeric.
On Windows, I get an assertion failure:
Assertion failed!
Program: D:\Program Files\gnucash\bin\gnucash-bin.exe
File provider: c
Line: 257
Expression: u
There seem to be some packaging misfits under OpenSuSE, but that problem
hasn't shown up under Ubuntu.
How can I get past these errors?
