relocate gnome files

These are gnome files.  They are *probably* necessary.  Deleting them or
moving will probably result in them being recreated with default values.

This is a gnucash file.  This hold's Users/foo's preferences and stuff
like saved reports, stuff like that.  Removing it or moving it, will
only cause it to be recreated with default values and any saved reports
will be lost (or hard to find).

You probably can't move them, unless you redefine what HOME is, which
will likely mean that you would have to move everything in Users/foo to
the new place for HOME.
