I didn't realize that this is something google charges for. I guess
someone with more talent than me can create a form that will direct a
visitors browser to: 

https://encrypted.google.com/search?q=site%3Alists.gnucash.org+<SEARCH>

where <SEARCH> is the value typed in the form field.

Or something similar.
