Fatal error after installing app -

Excuse my ignorance. What is OS/Distro?

I am running Windows 7

Gnu is version 2.4.7 - from the name of the file I downloaded. The app does not show so I cannot tell what is installed.

Where can I find the gnucash binary to make run in compatibility mode? I cannot get to the application at all. When I try to open it, it crashes. I just tried to start it again and got the same fatal error. Here is what it says:

What OS/Distro are you using?
What version of GnuCash are you using?

If you're using Win7, have you tried modifying the gnucash binary to run
in XP Compatibility Mode?
