"Retain log files:" user preference not working

	I know someone suggested that it might be related to using an SQL
back-end vs the XML file.  I don't know who made the suggestion or exactly
which SQL backend the poster was using.

I'll have a look around to see if I can find it in the archives. Can you
recall whether the problem was verified as being specific to SQLite (or
other SQL) backends?
