gnucash and finance::quote

Hello All,

I just downloaded Gnucash 2.4.9 for the express purpose of daily
monitoring of my tiia-cref portfolio. Gnucash with the finance::quote
module, I learned, was perhaps the only software by which that could be
easily accomplished. However, after quite a bit of exploration on my
own, getting online quotes (for any stock, which Gnucash documentation
sometimes confusingly calls either a "security" or a "commodity") is
still not working.

I run Windows7. I installed the perl module, I think correctly. What I
should do next, according to the manual
http://gnucash.org/docs/v2.4/C/gnucash-help.pdf , under "Steps to enable
On-line price updating" , is that the "GnuCash home page comes with a
small helper program to install Finance::Quote for you. You can find it
in the Start Menu under the GnuCash group and is (sic) called "Install
Online Price Retrieval".

After experiencing a great deal of frustration and confusion about this
instruction and how to perform this process, I located this (slightly
edited) exchange on

http://lists.gnucash.org/pipermail/gnucash-user/2011-August/040661.html

On my hard drive I located C:\Program Files > gnucash> bin>
and found 'install-fq-mods.cmd' which is a windows command script. I'm
assuming this is it. Can I just click on it from there?

Yes

This seems to have worked for me; a command window opened and a lot of
installation seems to have taken place. And when I try clicking it
again, here's what the window looks like, saying the "installation
succeeded":

(Perhaps the wiki and manual can be changed if this is now the correct
method.)

So since finance::quote apparently is installed, I should be able to get
online quotes on command, right? I think I followed the instructions on
p. 43-45 and 68-70 carefully.
Here is my Securities Editor Screen, after entering a few stocks

Here is my Price Editor screen

But, after clicking Get Quotes, here's the message I get.

The manual on page 44 seems to invite my query here, so I am hoping
someone will assist. Thank you.
