GnuCash CANNOT print Checks.  It can print ON checks.  


What that means is, you have to order preprinted blank checks then print the data on them.  I use the three to a sheet checks.  You can get 250 of them for around $40.

You also have to make some changes at the time you print them.  I'm on Windows 7 and for some reason it prints about the size of a postage stamp in the top left.  The work-a-round is to change the dpi to 75 and it will print the correct size.  If you're not on a Windows system then I believe it's fine.


When you print the checks, it will print the check data from your register it will NOT print the account information and routing info or check number.
