trouble with reconciling

thanks liz. alt tab did nothing. i know that screens are all over the place -- for example the tips screen moves off screen but i can capture it if i move the main screen off to the right. on my mac alt tab didn't do anything except cause the calendar button near today's date and a new blank line on the register to blink.

any other ideas? thanks.
