Another possibility that might work if you can limit your desire to look
at future daily balances to only one account (per report) would be to
set all your scheduled transactions for that account to be entered say,
30 days early then run a Net Worth Linechart report on that account with
the Show Table option checked. 
I use a few "bogus" transactions to estimate unknowables like how much I
will spend on groceries during the next fortnight or three.  Then I plan
to keep more in my checking account than I expect to spend over the next
few weeks to avoid overdrafts.  That works fairly well for me.
