Installing gnucash-2.4.11 on Mandrake PowerPack 10.0

A few years ago I installed Mardrake (now Manddriva) PowerPack 10.0 on my desktop.  I'm now trying to install gnucash-2.4.11 on the system. I've unpacked the gnucash 2.4.11.tar.bz2, but I can't get ./configure to run because I get the message "The intltool scripts were not found. Please install intltool." I can see the following files listed under the directory gnucash-2.4.11: intltool-extract.in, intltool-merge.in, and intltoool-update.in.  Any suggestions would be very appreciated.
