Splitting a credit card payment

   Good comments.  My splits will be independent of the bank payment/credit
card transaction.  I will create expense transactions and split them with
the credit card liability account.
Right now, that credit card liability account is quite large because I've
never accounted for any transactions.
   I actually have not yet tried what I just said but I think I get it now.
