Hi Neil,

Does this happen both when you create new invoices in gnucash 2.4.11 and 2.4.7 
or only in 2.4.7 ?

I have seen similar behaviour before, but I don't remember the details. I'm 
not using the mysql backend myself, but it may have been in the sqlite 
backend.
