how to install Gnucash in Linux Mint 13

Colin,
I removed the gnucash-common - it was coded as getdeb2~quantal, updated the
distro again and now all GC dependencies are getdeb1 (precise).
This morning I was able to successfully install GC.

Thank you for your support and guiding me through the steps.
It was not easy, but it is finally "done".
