It’s not working on OS X Yosemite (10.10).

Downloaded Gnucash-Intel-2.6.5-2 from the SF direct link. Launching the
application causes the same problem reported by others.

Tried to revert back and downloaded Gnucash-Intel-2.6.4-5 and that’s not
launching either.

Please tell me how to revert back and launch Gnucash-Intel-2.6.4-5 - what
files do I need to delete from my home directory?
