When I try and connect to my MySQL database (which is on another machine) it gives me the following error "The server at URL mysql://gnucash@192.168.1.80/gnucash experienced an error or encountered bad or corrupt data." I have checked the gnucash.trace file which contains the following 2 messages

This may be a very dumb question. If MYSQL is using a 192.168.1.xxx
address as opposed to localhost, would not that imply that the file is
on a different computer? This could still be permissions, but perhaps
on a different level.
